Fresh from her big night at the Logies where she picked up two awards for her role in TV drama series 'Love Child' - Miranda Tapsell spoke with Emily Nicol on Koori Radio's 'Making Tracks' program about her acting career, how she got her start, and that inspiring acceptance speech.
The jokes were flying thick and fast in the Koori Radio office recently when U.S comic, Will Sylvance, dropped by to record an interview with Aboriginal comedian, Sean Choolburra.
After discussing stand-up, connections between Aboriginal and African American comedy, Lauryn Hill's baby carrying prowess, Aboriginal lingo, and lots more, Sean gave Will a crash course in how to play didg.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Will earned his stand-up stripes working some of the Big Apple's most well known comedy spots, including the Gotham Comedy Club, the Comedy Cellar, Caroline's on Broadway and Stand-Up NY.
As well as touring widely, Will has worked as a writer for some major American movies and television programs, including the 'David Chapelle Show' and Damon Wayon's 'Underground'.
