50th Anniversary of the 1967 Referendum

Join Reconciliation Australia, Gadigal Information Service and the City of Sydney in an important celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 Referendum - a high watermark in the history of reconciliation in Australia.
The venue, Sydney Town Hall is of particular significance for the movement as it was the venue for celebrations shortly after the 1967 Referendum occurred.
This festive commemorative event will include a 3 course dinner, memories from the 1967 Referendum campaign, games and performances by X-Factor starlet and Indigenous Soul Mumma Rochelle Pitt with her soul/funk band. There will also be DJ sets from Koori Radio presenter and National Indigenous Music Awards Hall of Fame inductee Mark Munk Ross.
Can you dig it? Get groovy and come celebrate this momentous occasion in 60’s swinging style and flair.
Date/Time: June 1st from 7PM until Late
Dress code: 1960s fun
Tickets for community members and NGOs are $50 a ticket or $500 a table for 10 people (+GST)
