Yabun Festival Koori Radio 93.7FM proudly invites Sydney and Australia to celebrate the survival of Aboriginal people cultures at the Yabun Festival in Victoria Park on 26 January each year.
Sydney’s premiere one-day festival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, presents the best in music, dance, ideas, sport and so much more. Yabun is a family friendly, alcohol-free event that increasingly draws interest from people from all nations around the world. For art and craft lovers, there are demonstrations and works for sale plus so much more in the community and food stalls alley. Culture and politics go Live ‘n Deadly in the Speak Out and Kulture Tents.
Tune into Koori Radio 93.7FM for the live broadcast on the day and around the country on the National Indigenous Radio Service.. Yabun doesn’t happen by itself! We always need volunteers to help us on January 25, 26 & 27. Klub Koori
Koori Radio 93.7FM presents Klub Kooris at venues across Sydney and, when funding allows, in regional NSW centres. Check this site and follow our Facebook page for upcoming event dates and info.. These are great evenings for all communities, presenting some of the best and emerging musical talent heard on Koori Radiol. All proceeds including donations and sales of cd’s and merchandise supports our Artist Development Program.
Rooftop Concert Series
In 2015, Gadigal launched its all new Rooftop Concert Series. Spanning a wide range of music styles, and involving a unique cast of Indigenous and international bands and solo performers, from established icons to emerging artists, these concerts function as fundraisers to help keep Koori Radio on the air, and take place right above the Koori Radio studios on the Rooftop of the Gadigal Information Service building at 27 Cope, Street Redfern.
