Rapper, poet, activist - call him what you will - there's no denying that Michael Franti is a bonafide music superstar who has earned himself an army of adoring fans the world over. With his band, 'Spearhead', Franti has toured constantly throughout his now three decade long career, making plenty of stops to Australia along the way where he has forged a special bond with Aboriginal people and communities. Franti has also been a long-time supporter of Sydney's only Aboriginal community radio broadcaster, Koori Radio.
