Gadigal Information Service proudly presents a major celebration of the survival of Aboriginal people cultures at the Yabun Festival, held at Victoria Park in Camperdown each year on the 26th of January ('Survival Day').
Yabun is Sydney’s premiere one-day festival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, presenting a diverse and vibrant lineup of Indigenous music, dance, oration, sport and much more. Yabun is a family friendly, alcohol-free event that increasingly draws interest from people from all nations around the world, and also features a wide range of food and arts stalls.
Tune into Koori Radio 93.7FM in Sydney for the live broadcast on the day, or the National Indigenous Radio Service for those listeners outside the Sydney region.
Yabun doesn’t happen by itself! We always need volunteers to help us on January 25, 26 & 27. If you want further information on how YOU can help & become one of our valued volunteers, contact us on (02) 9384 4000 or email: yabunvolunteers@gadigal.org.au
There are also stalls available for you to share your deadly product or service with the many visitors who come to Yabun!
