Chill Cheney

Born and raised without a musical background, ChillCheney found his calling at the age of 14. The transformative lyrics of 2Pac’s “Changes” ignited a passion for rap that has since defined his artistic trajectory. ChillCheney is from Wiradjuri mob (Dubbo) and his music is characterised by its emotional depth and dark undertones, pays homage to eminent artists such as Eminem, NF, Gnash, 6lack, Phora, Billie Eilish, and Lil Wayne.

His performance record is an eclectic mix of events and venues, including, COOEE festival (2019) and NAIDOC In The City (2023). He hosted his own show at the Metro Theatre, Sydney, shared the stage with Nitrous Battles at the Melbourne Pavilion, and warmed the crowd for Drapht during his tour (2022).

His notable performances also include supporting Tech N9ne at his Sydney show (2022) and livening up various university events from orientation weeks to year-end social gatherings.
