Lalau Leo Tanoi

My Name is Lalau Fepulea’i Leo Tanoi. I was born in Auckland New Zealand and migrated to Australia to visit my father and my brothers in Sydney Australia in 1988.
I had my last year of school year 12 at Enmore High School. I studied accounting and although uncompleted, my father and I run a Taro exporting business while I was playing for the Cronulla Sharks.
I have spent 30 years with Koori Radio and I have also worked in the Arts and culture sector during this time as a Pasifika Curator and Creative Produce.

Etina Hosanna Faletoese

O Etina o le igoa lea i tua o Hosana Farah Faletoese.

Etina is the name behind Hosanna Farah Faletoese, given for community radio by my late father Rt Rev Faletoese when he was the Spiritual Father for Nuanua Samoa, then for Samoan Dreaming.

Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, I am the youngest of six – 3 older sisters and 2 older brothers. From New Zealand to Samoa finally arriving in Balmain, Sydney Australia 1980.

Went to school at Balmain Primary and Domremy Girls College at Fivedock.

Fast forward to 2003 I joined Samoan Dreaming program at Koori Radio together with my late father.

It has been rewarding connecting with the community through music, stories, culture, and history.
